Google is a rapidly growing and multi disciplined company, constantly needing to rearrange their work environment.  Rather than presenting them with a fixed office plan, we decided the best option was to design an office with the ability to go anywhere and be able to provide Google with any necessary work environment. Through three types of office building typologies, from foam blocks, to a foam and peg system to highly advanced app controlled FESTO muscles, the offices now have the ability to adapt to any need, fitting the user-defined nature Google promotes through their operating systems and software design. Taking this idea in mind, the project was aptly named “Androidian_ism,” what we defined as the process of being an acting in accordance with Google’s Android OS.
